Sirius XM sale through June 30

I've only read the gunslinger of that series. The movie was terrible. I like in 11-22-63 the guy goes to Derry and unknowingly meets some of the kids from it.
I find it My subscription to SiriusXM is wasted because mostly I listen to audiobooks when I drive. Road trips are good for long novels like Steven King’s gunslinger series. Well worth a listen if you have a lot of time in the vehicle. There are places on the Internet, where the audiobooks could be found and then I just load them up to my iPhone from my Mac.

When I had a 1.5 hour commute each way I was doing audiobooks and podcasts, I found a much closer job and now it's 15 minutes each way so music is best for that in my case.

I’ve had SiriusXM for years, going back to 2004 before they merged. I find the variety of music genres and channels much better than Spotify. Plus Howard Stern is great on long drives. He can still be crude, but he has some amazing guests and is an excellent interviewer. For lovers of 80’s electronic, First Wave with Richard Blade is the best.

As others mentioned, the great thing with SXM is it works when you’re in the middle of no where with spotty cell coverage. I personally never liked Spotify and ditched it for Apple Music as part of an Apple One subscription. Much better music quality.

I have four SXM subscriptions now. Three I bought years ago as lifetime subscriptions so I never pay a dime for them unless I move it to a new vehicle. I think they quickly discovered that wasn’t sustainable so that option is long gone. The fourth subscription I’m paying $4 or $5 a month. It is a pain to call every year and threaten to cancel to get a good deal, but it’s the same dance I do annually with my internet provider so I’m happy to play the game for a good deal.
