Roof Rack dilemmas

I dug into your previous comments and saw the distinction. Thanks for the past legwork on this, I am thinking this is the way I want to go.

Don't want to jump in on your thread but I wanted to clarify that there are 2 GX roof rack mounts. One that mounts to the GX Overtrail/LC style rails like in @miko2485 photo above. The other mounts to GX low profile rails, not directly to the roof.

I have a set of low profile GX rails that you can have (Cary, NC) if you want them. Then you'd just have to make sure you get the right GX rack, which is any one NOT off an OT or OT+. As you mentioned, they are noisy so people are selling them.

Too easy! I learned the hard way when I bought the wrong version! On the bright side, I’m selling a GX550 rack for stupid cheap, just has to be for a GX550!

Hey, looks like I might have a lead on the rails that would let me mount the low profile. What is stupid cheap? Fingers crossed here
