Pumped to get rid of my 20” wheels and instantly humbled at Costco.

The LX is so pretty in person. I was honestly surprised to see the size is pretty similar.

Edit: I also got an FJ-Wave from a twin-car leaving another store today. Felt good.

The LX is the hideous version of our lovely beast. The spindle grill is an abomination and the rubber bands for tires belies its intended purpose. The interior is a mismatched amalgamation of old tech. You could offer me to trade my LC straight up for a new, top of the line LX hybird, and I'd say no. I'm not sure I'd even want to be seen in that atrocity.

Owning three raptors and spending time in that offroad community, I was dumbfounded when a guy would show up with his lifted Raptor on 20 inch vanity wheels... and then proceeded to complain that they couldnt keep up with the offroad desert running pace. You just took the worlds greatest stock desert runner racetruck, and turned it in to a pavement turd.... for 95K + upgrades(downgrades). If the Lexus could talk it would tell the LC it just wants to be free.

Agree re the spindle grill, but the hybrid Overtrail variant would disputably be as good or better than the LC off-roading. As I recall, it even has a backup system (alternator and starter) in the event the battery fails. Tires are more off-road suitable. Locking front AND rear differentials! All said, still WAY out of my affordability category.

I mean… $120,000 MSRP is a hard swing for 99% of the people on this forum, I’d bet.

That guy is a tool.

That is the most empty costco I have ever seen!

Agreed - properly equipped the LX can be a powerful off-roader, just like our beloved LC. The addition of a front locker makes it potentially even better off-road. Having said that, it's still uglier than a hairless cat inside and out. With apologies to the hairless cat who didn't set out to look like that.

Nori Green is available in the GX, and surprisingly the pricing is not that far away from a LC. If a dealer were even slightly close, would be a tough decision.
The pricing isn’t way off but to get b overtrail in nori green you basically need to kidnap someone with corporate.

That God-awful grill on the newer Lexus models is incredibly off-putting. My last was an LS460 2008 without that hideous grill.
