Pic request of 20” wheels with AT’s?

Not sure if you're ever considering a lift kit, but this is what a 2 1/2" lift with 285/65R20's looks like. Specifically they're Toyo Open Country ATIII's.
Any rubbing issues while turning in full compression?

If you’re not going to be hard core off road might suggest you stay around a 115 load range tire to keep the ride. These are 275/60R20 A/T4W 115T Wildpeak’s on dealer take-off 20” GX550 rims.

What the heck, that looks amazing. The LC pulls them off unbelievably well! Agreed on the load range too.

FWIW - The GX wheels take 84mm center caps, which is same size used on most Toyota/ Lexus OE wheels, which means OE 18” & 20” wheels have lots of options (including Tundra, Tacos, 4Rnr TRD versions, etc.).
I replaced the Lexus logo caps to put on TOYOTA letter center caps. Waiting on some black center caps using the old school silver Land Cruiser logo being made on a 3D printer that I’ll share soon.

Thanks SC! I choose a 1” spacer to yield a 1.5” front end lift. Even though I don’t have clearance issues with the 275/65/20 tires, I don’t care for the look of the front end rake. I’m guessing T did this for the towing sag or ???

Can anyone verify if I will need an alignment with adding an inch to the spring/shock tower?

After 500 miles, I still love those K03’s!
I like this setup @ B in Co! Can you share what spacer kit you went with?

275/65/20 KO3s (with Westcott level/lift)
Sorry to pull up an old thread, but the guy at Toyota told me that I could possibly do 285 with the westcott lift and the 20" OEM without any rub.. do you think thats possible from your experience with 275?

Depending on wheel offset and tire width of course, but you can fit a 285 on factory suspension without needing to put a spacer lift in.

Hey Mitch,
I didn't use a wheel spacer for my BFG K03 275/65/20's. There's about 1/2-3/4" clearance on the fender liner with my new tires, so a 285 might be too close? I got my tires from Discount Tires, I would guess they would mount a 285 and see if it clears...using pretty please might help :)

A wheel spacer might have (no proof here) cause rubbing issues on the outside of the tire. I also don't care for the look of tires outside the fenders or the function of throwing rocks down the side of the rig. MHO.

I had no rubbing issues with the stock front end set up, I just didn't care for the raked profile of the rig. I did have the front end aligned after installing the 1" front spacers (which yield a 1.5" lift) and it was off enough to cause tire wear issues long term. The rig sits at 28" inches to the top of each wheel opening arch. It was 26.5 front and 28" back.

I hope this helps...and don't forget to rent/buy a spring compressor to help rotate the top plate into the new position (about 25 degrees) so the shock tower mount at the bottom lines up on the pin.

Any rub or modifications you had to do?
No rub or modifications after the Westcott lift/leveling kit. The dealer told me there was slight rub but I've had this on for 12 months maybe and I have yet to notice in any driving condition...I also visually inspected a few times and nothing so not sure what the dealer was talking about

Did you purchase the caps from somewhere else or print them your self?
Sorry missed your post.
I had them made - asked a guy on eBay to try to make a few different styles for the standard Toyota/Lexus 84mm cap size (- ex. Toyota, GR, Land Cruiser). He was already doing TRD & other caps.

I have the prototype Land Cruiser script caps on our LC & really like how they came out. They are a touch loose (spin) but fixed w/ single wrap of electrical tape to add friction. I sold the other variants, but still have 1 set of 4 LC script caps left over if anyone is interested.

Super cool!

Any benefit that can be explained which size would be better 275/65/20 or 275/65/20?? I know "better' is subjective. To narrow the conversation, better in terms of fit stock, no lift/spacer, etc. and no rubbing.

V/R!
