Highly recommend the Offoam mount for the LC. I am so happy with mine that I bought one for my old truck too. Super solid, no wiggle, works exactly as advertised, no BS.
I have the offroam mount with no charger and it works great. Thinking about getting the charging option version but not sure how that will be connected and how to hide the cable. Anyone has installed this? Where is the cable connected? How did you manage the cable? Any pictures?

I also have the non-charger due to constant charging isn't the best thing you can do for you phone's battery (if you don't want to end up charging every single day, just to make it through the day I don't know this for a fact, but my experience says I'm close..... The phone's battery is only good for "X" amount of charging cycles, it doesn't matter if it's a 20% cycle until fully charged or an 80% cycle....... A cycle is a cycle and when the battery develops what I call "knee drop voltage", you are doomed to nightly charging. Often times my drive starts with my phone above 50% remaining charge, so the non-charging mount allows me to store/secure the phone off the OEM charging pad and if during the drive the phone needs charging, I have two options......OEM pad or USB-C cable.
Two answer your question........ For my Radar Det, I made a breakout harness for one of the OEM center consol USB ports (in hind sight I wouldn't do it this way again). I routed the USB cable behind the instrument cluster trim and just let it exit (pinched) on the top portion, It's neat and non-obtrusive. I think you could probably do something similar but just use a aftermarket USB port hidden behind the L/H switch panel (there's loads of room back there and has easy access) and just run the USB cable behind the instrument cluster trim surround across the top and let it exit etc.......

Mine is a little untidy right now because just removed it yesterday to demonstrate for a friend. Usually the coiling is nice and tight, thus hardly visible and definitely invisible from an upright position. The short run from mount down doesn’t bother me. This vehicle (at least for me) lends itself to a rugged, utilitarian approach where short cable runs feel normal. I’ve though of drilling a small, clean hole in that panel below the climate cluster, but have a future mod planned (below) that would render that pointless.
I can confirm what @EOD Guy states about battery depletion. Battery cells require frequent restoration by means of full discharge and charge cycles. Even big, million dollar industrial batteries have maintenance procedures to facilitate this. Keeping a full battery at full charge is less detrimental (over time) than consistently charging from (example) 60-70%, but it still develops detrimental “memory” in the battery. There is science to it, but I digress… I simply unplug the USB-C at the source when charging is not desired.
It’s definitely more effective than the OEM charging pads. My next mod is to extend the “third row” USB-C ports up into the second row, and to route my offroam to the console ports. I will have to find another way to avoid battery degradation at that point, so I may install a simple throw switch or push button toggle. Still in the thinking stage.
Does the offroam mount, "unmount" from the car without leaving any marks or damage? Never saw one but looks really nice and clean.

It depends on whether or not you overtighten it. It is a billet bracket with a billet adjustment point, so overtightening would surely leave marks behind. I was more worried about cracking the hard plastic when installing mine. I think that if you are conscious of the potential issue you won't have any issue staying on the right side of that problem. I got mine snug and went a quarter turn tighter with no audible response from the plastics. It has never shifted or come lose with that conservative approach either.
I've also moved mine laterally a number of times, and just yesterday removed it completely to demonstrate for a friend. No marks aside from from light scuffs due to me sliding it laterally a few times before without actually removing the bracket.
This cheap mount has worked great and keeps my phone charged without overheating. I figured using that dead space on the console made the most sense wth Carplay handling the upper screen duties for navigation, phone, music, etc.

The Offroam looks nice. I hate to see wires so am considering the MagSafe unpowered version as it seems the mount location is quite advantageous for viewing. But I’m a bit concerned with a few things that I hoped those using the device could help me with:
I’ve got a pro max iPhone and am concerned that when stuck to the mount, and viewing from driver perspective, it will eclipse the left margin of the CarPlay screen. How bad is this?
Looks like it will essentially cover the “radio” knob. I actually use this a little bit (on-off etc). Do you have to be double-jointed to get to it?
Also close to the headlight stalk. Any interference here?

1) you can move it pretty far left (left/center of the start button). My wife’s pro max spends plenty of time there, out of my way.
2) It can also be adjusted along the vertical axis, so you can play with aligning it to allow easy access to the power knob. Steering wheels controls are intuitive once you start using them instead.
3) no interference unless you decide to adjust it to interfere.
I've got the Offroam, but I hate having wires running all over the place. I managed to find a nice short cable and some 90° USB-C adapters and 3D printed some cable clips that I wedged into the seams.

Here's the STL in case you have access to a 3D printer. Just a heads up though, the cable I linked above is thicker than most, so if you use a different one it may not snap as tightly into the clip, but it won't affect how snugly the clip fits in the seams of the car.

I have the offroam with charging and absolutely love. I tried a few options and this was the best solution. The included cable adhesive clips that they include were a joke. The first heat spell they all fell off. I wrote them and told them and maybe they will change in the future but I ordered these and they work amazing. I simply routed the cable around the lcd display on the right, slightly behind the edge all the way to where the mount is. You can play around and place where you like them best.
Here are my pictures showing how I routed and used clips. Also, if you don’t want to charge your phone for a particular drive, I just unplug it from below.

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I had this mount in my IG and loved it when I installed it. After about an year, the connection between the area and the QI charger disk is aluminum to plastic. The plastic cracked and lost friction, so I could only use in the folded position. It utilized very good adhesive tape, so i was never able to get it off. Wouldn't buy again until they get a better connection.
Got the Offroam too and its excellent. I have it positioned so I dont block visual of the LC250 screen, and I can still access the audio button.
I'm too OC about seeing wires and such and agree in principle with EOD's assessment re numerous charging events on these batteries. So I have a covert 90 degree usb C cable exiting Magmount coursing behind dash, with female end terminating out of sight . Most drives I dont use charger. For my unusual long haul drive, I pull out the usb C male to male cable I keep in the center console, run it down around display and plug in. Works great.
