If I was in California the cool box may be more appreciated, we could use a hot box for our long winters here!

Recent arrival, Canadian market.
I didn’t know they would come with a Premium model, tried them today.

Could you take some pics of the back of the wheel to show how the paddles are attached?
I think my wheel has plugged cut-outs where the paddles would go.

I was thinking of trying to figure out whether those paddles in the ebay link above could be added to my truck, but if you're offering to swap wheels to make it work I'm open to the idea.Would that be “borrowing” my steering wheel?

I know some other Toyota platforms can be retrofitted, provided you have the right parts, some harness pigtails and don’t mind the disassembly and re-pinning required to get it done. I can’t say if programming would be required to bring the pieces together.
Whether it is worth the cost and effort is going to be subjective. I was surprised to see the paddles after reading this thread days ago. I could see them as being useful, especially if the transmission is hunting for a gear change and fluid is getting too warm or you want to slow down/avoid lugging.

I did some digging also (kinda literally) and it turns out those little access panels below the paddles are how you release the horn/airbag to get into the rest of the guts of the steering wheel.
