OTT tune now available for the LC250

I had mine done over the weekend and I am pretty impressed its peppier now. The power band between 40 and 65 is pretty good. Getting on the expressways now doesn't feel like I am going to get ran over. The hard down shift when slowing down is gone and it doesn't seem to be searching for gears as much. As they work with more manufactures the upcoming stages will be pretty interesting.

What do you mean by stages ? Also , after the tune is there still normal , eco and sport ? Does this mess with the towing ?

Yes as far as I know the normal, eco, and sport all still exist. I would think it would improve towing as it increases the hp by 40+ and ups the torque by 20+. The stages are as more manufactures come out with aftermarket intercoolers and things like that then the different stages could add more hp and torque. Could possibly get over 400hp eventually.

How much "tweaking" do these tuners do when they tune the vehicle? I see that you can get a DIY kit from OTT.

Well if you would have just accepted that literally EVERYTHING was and is about your ex wife, you’d still be married.

It’s her universe the rest of us just live in it. At least according to her.
Seems we were married to the same person. I had no Idea she was previously married. Thanks for the head's up

Absolutely love it. Noticeable increase in power well worth the price. Draggy numbers are the same as the OTT tune.
Do you happen to have a link or part number for it.? Inwent to their website and can’t find it for our LC250. I do like the idea of the piggyback JB4 method

Here is the kit

FWIW: It is $950 for the DIY kit from OTT.
The only issue i see with OTT is it’s a VF tuner ecu flash. They claim dealers cannot see, they can. Sure you can flash back to stock but there is a flash counter. Depending on your dealer and your give a crap factor on your Warenty it could be an issue. Personally for the same performance as the jb4 I don’t see any value.

I’m not selling OTT, I was just providing information for anyone that may be curious.

They address the flash counter; “Please note that the CAN Connect Cable is essential to ensure the ECU does not register a flash count…”

My LC is untuned and will likely remain so.

My only concern is how it affects the interplay with the hybrid system....WOT no brainer but daily driving and the the constant handoff between EV and ICE, that has got to be complicated. Say you have 60 more HP and now there is less demand for the EV side....how will that affect efficiency?? Trust me, JB4 is about the best. Had one on a X5D and currently on my Quad (580HP!)...but this is different

I am with you on this. I know from past tuning on my Subaru's that tunes can damage components pretty badly. An off the shelf tune scares me for any forced induction motor. A lot can go wrong with that increased compression, throw in some bad timing with the hybrid motor I can just see something going wrong.

I have noticed no difference in how the EV system performs.
