In just 4 months of sales in 2024 Toyota has sold 4 times more LCs comparing to the highest selling year in the last 20 years.

I was curious about LC sales as I've started seeing LCs on the road more frequently. And most of the local dealers have them in stock and available for purchase (not pre-sold).

I still see more cybertrucks than LCs, though. Ow, my eyes!

I haven't seen any on the road. My local dealer always has 1958s on the lot, and I saw one LC and one FE, but that's it. I keep cruising past my dealer to see if they add more. Just waiting on them to get their butts in gear to get mine outta port.

1958's seem to be relatively plentiful. Toyota must have mis-calculated demand. Yep, an LC/LC/Premium for me...

I watched someone with one in Pittsburgh try to parallel park in South Side. It was hilarious. We were right behind them and after about 3 minutes of not being able to figure it out they sped off. There was a small crowd on the street too. Those things are ridiculous!

I've only seen one other (an LC LC) in my little town of podunk, nowhere in PA, but on a trip back from Gettysburg to State College there were 3 of us in a line on the highways for that whole stretch. It was cool!

I've seen quite a few in east TN and WNC. I saw one in Brevard nc last week and a few near Murphy and Casheirs. Chattanooga, Murfreesboro and McMinnville. Seems very popular in my area

The LC trim is selling well here, but nobody wants the 1958 so they’re actually offering discounts on them.

Imagine that a more reasonably priced Land Cruiser sells a lot better.

I still would like to see the 300 Series offered, but I’m happy with our 250 so far.

I don't know, based on the sales it's a win for Toyota, and I'm thinking the base 4Runner expected at $43K will fill that "reasonably priced" slot. I don't know how much you could strip off of a 1958 to hit that price point.

You misunderstand I am saying I would be OK with the price of the 300 series equipped similar to an 250 Series premium package, but not over the top LX600 level.

Sales by the model would be cool to see. I was too cheap to spend over 60k on a LC. Love my 1958.

I can almost guarantee you and I have crossed paths. We seem to travel the same areas of TN and NC. I'm back and forth from rhea county to transylvania county all the time.
