Looks good! I don't mount RDs on the mirror any more........ guaranteed ticket if stopped. At least with a magnet dash mount, there's a chance............LOL

New Escorts have a mag mount, so it can be removed in a few seconds if I'm driving through a state that doesn't allow them. Super convenient. The real question is, do I really still need it in a car like this?

In stock form, it'll cruise 90 without you realizing it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Also when I come on post I'm technically not supposed to have it on. I can possess it, can't operate it.

I'm adding my Escort 360 Reline to my new LC using a mirror tap for power. The raw wire tap above will work for sure, but is there any one who has used a 10Pin Type B Connector adapter? Does it provide 12V (required for Escort) or 5V (USB)?

Thanks FirstEditionLC2024 for the wire color info!

FYI: The Dongar are USB power supplies, which is 5V not 12V as required to run the Escort.

I was asking if any of the 10Pin Type B Connector pins are 12V.

I understand........ but if you're planning to use the mirror wires as a pwr supply, you could easily probe the breakout harness and find the 12v wire and splice into the breakout harness without hacking into the OEM wires.

As an alt solution........ you could easily use a "Fuse Tap" in one of the unused ACCY fuse slots in the Dvr's side fuse box and route it through the fire wall (Hole and gromet are already there) up the "A" pillar and across to the center.
