How do you plan to cover the head during heavy snow?

Sound is negligible. I tried recording with my phone attached to the snorkel on the head and still unable to get anything substantial. Our turbo don't come on in neutral or in park no matter how much you rev the engine. Going in drive with forward motion there is so much wind noise that turbo Sound is hardly there to get a smile from the driver. You tubers must be putting a wireless mic in the engine bay to get the sound.
I like my snorkel but in actual fact it is raised air intake since it is not sealed and has drain hole at the bottom. You are unable to turn the head for heavy downpour or snow. But it looks very cool. Lots of people ask me how it came with snorkel. So it is a point of good conversation. Given a choice again I would wait for safari snorkel.
Snow? in middle east we only see snow in pictures and movies XD, i don't know if you noticed the drain hole at the bottom of the snorkel, see that small part of the snorkel that makes you wonder why Toyota designed it that way and not make it straight at the bottom? it's to gather water at the small drain hole, also i don't think snow will block it %100, but it would be helpful if you can reply here later when it snows in Canada, i'm sure some poeple would like to see pictures of snowy snorkel.

Would it be possible to seal it and fit a one-way drain valve, something like other snorkel kits have?
Or is this fantasy on my part?
This just looks so good, it’s a shame it doesn’t quite help with water crossings. And a bigger shame that other manufacturers aren’t taking inspiration from Toyota’s design on this one.

That TINY hole will never suck in enough air to be useful or water to be detrimental. It is solely for drainage.
Bravo, a Spanish company is set to release a snorkel for the LC 250. I assume it’s primarily designed for the European diesel version, though it might also be compatible with other engines.
Naturally, it will come with CE certification, which indicates a certain level of quality, though I know from experience how highly some of my readers value those CE labels. (Europe sucks)
I’ll probably go for it, since the product should be road legal, and they also offer different head options, including a cyclone head.

Got some bad news from ARB USA. No plans to let the US have an attractive snorkel right now.

Just under $800 and they can get both kinds the standard and the air max ones.
Holy moly I had no idea the armax was so involved wow. So happy I went with the normal one now.
