Armax is solid. Install was challenging. It took me 3 days to get it installed: prep day, Airbox modification day, and then cutting and reassembly. It’s completely sealed. I’m slightly concerned about heavy rain and drainage.
Very Aussie-style Cruiser there! Assume you have the iforcemax powertrain, is the snorkel just for dust avoidance?

Looks really great, classic look. I’m sure you’re aware of the water depth restrictions on this vehicle, but you may want to look into those if not. You can’t go anywhere near the depth of the factory air intake.
Thank you! Yeah I love the way it looks and it preforms great! All the hybrid stuff has some type of water proofing. What’s at risk? The battery vents in the back? I think the shallow depth rating is Toyota being overly cautious. Watch my next post is “I bricked my LC250!” Lol
The hybrid stuff doesn’t have any water proofing. The battery itself, for example. The vents are quite low - way below the factory air intake point for example.
Yeah but the vents aren’t on the exterior of the vehicle, they’re inside. Not saying I trust my door seals that much. But I think Toyota gave it a lot of extra margin.

I've thought about that as well with that style snorkel, I would personally turn the head rearwards
