How much is a 2.5 lift kit plus install at a Toyota dealership?

Looking to negotiate a lift kit with my landrcruiser 1958.

Also any suggestions on lift kits covered under the Toyota warranty?

Generally, there are 2 lifted kit/suspension types:

1/ For the look and to fit larger tires, but reduce the performance on-road and specially in challenging terrain off-road ( not fire/dirt road…). Those kits material wide cost you under $500, and labor can be $800-$1000.
I saw some ones installed $150 spacers in their $60K-$70k LC

2/ For true performance and accommodating larger tires. Increase the handle experience both on-road and off-road. These kits include new shocks (fixed or adjustable), springs, upper control arm, KDSS panhard bracket, etc. to ensure delivering the better performance compared to stocks. These kits material wide can cost you from $1500 to $6500 and labor cost can be similar the “cheap” option 1 above $900-$1200

Toyota Land Cruiser is “upscale” vehicle comparing to Tacoma, 4Runner…Therefore, its stocked suspension system is very good which you don’t want to degrade it.
Select the system that works for your purposes…and you expect how much you pay for them. At dealer, the cost can be equal or more, but dealer can consider that as manufacturing warranty

Most lifted kit installed outside the dealers… they are voided manufactured warranty on suspension system. We all know it.

It’s possible there will be LC250 lift/suspension kits from the Toyota parts catalog, and sold/installed by Toyota dealers from brands such as Old Man Emu, Bilstein, and Fox. Toyota does this for other models. That way the parts install will be covered by Toyota warranty.

Yes. If the dealers do, they only select the trust/reliable brand systems such as you mentioned above. What other models which you sure knew that dealers installed/sold with “dealer warranty” (not manufacture warranty)?

That would depend on the individual dealer. I noticed mine has installed the King/Total Chaos combo on a few they’ve advertised for sale. Of course when they’re offered from the Toyota parts catalog they will sell those instead.

It’s better that way.
How much did dealer charge you with that King/TC combo ? How’s warranty?

Can you explain the KDSS panhard rod bracket? Would this not be specific to vehicles with KDSS? The LC does not have KDSS correct? Icon and Dobinsons have a panhard rod for the LC, as well as probably other brands, but they do not say KDSS. Is this OK or am I missing something? Thank you!

It is called : Dr KDSS Panhard Bracket (bolt on trackbar correction kit Land Cruiser 250 and GX550).
It helps to realign track bar to OEM position.
Search by the name then you know what it is.

Here is the photo of mine when did 2”lifted rear with Robinson Spring+King 2.5” dia shocks / 2.75” leveled front

Under 2” rear lifted, you don’t need it

Got it. First thank you for your help on here. I am learning and do not know what I would do without good people on here willing to assist. Here on E Coast I do not think we do not have nearly the amount of experienced installers and off-road information available as those out west where the trails are🥲.
So this bracket - I found on Dr KDSS, and seems the one for 250 is known as the BOTCK. I guess my question is this if you know; the Dobinsons MRR kit I am now focused on has a pan hard rod for the 250 which adjusts the rear axle after the lift. Is this KDSS bracket something you do in addition to the rod, or does this bracket take the place of the rod? Do you do one or the other, but not both? And if so, is one option better than the other?
Again thank you @t3lcfe !

In Socal, my dealership quoted $1200 for a ReadyLift SST. Includes kit and labor. 2.5” front and 1” rear. Still doing my research though.

That kind of “lift” is so-called “spacer lift”: material cost under $500, and labor is about $700-$800. So $1200 is fair price.
What is your purpose of this lifted system?
