Do you guys in the US get real leather we have to put up with cheap PU leather - fake leather - no wonder the seat covers business is booming here.

Its either cloth, PU, or a blend of genuine/fake here in the USA. PU/vinyl has a good reputation for durability here ...for Mercedes-Benz .
