I jokingly call it stuff like that because the majority of toyotas I ever saw the taliban use were usually white.

I always think of it as Halliburton White after all the Haliburton trucks I see in Utah coal mining country! They don't tend to drive Toyota's though.

I like my color but given the choice at the time (it was available at the dealership ) I would have chose blue with white top…

I went with the 1958, so my options were a fairly limited...

If I had my choice of the full color palette, I probably would have opted for Underground...but I've owned several black vehicles in the past and it's always a winner with me, so yes, I'm quite happy with it. I heavily considered Meteor Shower at the time when I was still shopping, but really liked the way it looked in all black. As an added bonus, the non-color matched parts that come on the 1958 are black...so they match anyway.

This could've been written by me, except I ended up with Meteor Shower. The first Land Cruiser I test drove was a Meteor Shower - and it looked a lot better in person than it did in pictures.

But then I buckled down and really researched the car and found I liked Underground the best (and still do). That is until I decided to get a 1958 where I waffled between black and Meteor Shower until I got a really good deal on a Meteor Shower and ran with it. I do agree black best hides the extensive use of plastic on the 1958. And now, having had the car for a few days, I have zero regrets, whether the color or otherwise - it's an amazing car and I'm in love.

Underground, it was my choice right behind Trail Dust. While I love the color itself I don't think I would get a vehicle in this color again. It's impossible to keep clean, but even worse is how fragile the paint is. I swear it gets scratches just by looking at it.

I was lucky enough to get a First Edition, but it meant that I didn't get to choose a colour! You basically take the allocation your dealer is given, but they can sometimes trade them with other dealers. In Canada they were only available in Trail Dust and Heritage Blue. I was going to take whatever was offered, but happy with the Trail Dust. I'm jealous a bit when I see the colour offerings available elsewhere on even on First Editions, though. At least this colour doesn't look dirty even when it is filthy!

Very true, long-known issue with Underground. Would not recommend to anyone bothered by scratches or wants to keep their vehicle perfectly clean - nor black for that matter.

Yeah I’ve realized in the last few weeks that not only is Trail Dust dust colored, but it’s especially pollen colored! So much pollen on my Land Cruiser right now.

I have Meteor Shower, or Brown Sugar to you Canadians, and I'm happy I picked it... Though I like it better when it is darker outside vs. with the sun is shining and it is "silver."

Only other color that intrigues me is the tan, but I wanted the LCLC, not Premium.

Meteor changes on lighting. Agree at dusk it looks the best.

I then panicked and scrambled to find any LC with the package I wanted (LC non-prem) and drove 2.5 hours to get one in Meteor Shower. Then went through 2-3 months of regret and wishing I went with heritage blue. Almost traded in for one.. Fast forward to today, I love meteor shower. It’s been quite the ride. If you went through something similar, know you’re not alone. If I’m the only one, I’m embarrassed lol.

I am waiting on '26 Meteor Premium. Wanted Underground real bad, eventhough I had NEVER seen one in the flesh. Almost settled for Heritage Blue Greyscape roof and canceled last minute and now waiting for The Meteor to Stike my garage around Mid April lol. I hope I'm making the right decision! Pretty sure I am... but until I get the opportunity to get up close to an actual LC in Underground all I had to go off of was "well this Taco over here is in Underground... oH and that Camry over there..."

After seeing the wife waiting for extended intervals for her Highlander platinum. I wasted no time when they rolled off a heritage blue with 3 miles on it. Very happy.
Some prior dark vehicles showed too much dust/pollen. The light blue stays clean looking the the white/grey top keeps cool in sunny days.

After having owned my LC for a year and a half, I am very pleased I sought out a Black over Black with the Premium Pkg.

My second choice after seeing a few of them in the wild would be Underground.

Curious what people are thinking about their color and thoughts on the most flattering LC colors....

I’m 13 months in on the 2025 LC250! I have other Land Cruiser models so I had a few colors to choose from to match!

When I went to the dealership I had the option to order whatever color/trim I preferred! I was mainly looking at black, ice cap, trail dust. I was trading in my 2014 200(white) the dealership had one of the three colors I was considering on the lot in the premium package with 12 miles on it.

I ended up purchasing the one on the lot with about 39 miles after I test drove it! Lol I was OK with the color that I picked probably because it was already on the lot?? I have no regrets. Well maybe one? Probably should’ve just kept my 2014 as well? Ha

I wanted black initially but only could get Underground. I’m happy with it now but the color really looks quite different in varying lighting conditions from a lighter clay grey in sunlight to dark charcoal in the shade. I haven’t seen that variation with other colors.

I liked the “old school” nod with the Trail Dust. Still happy with it.
