Underground was in my top 3 choices... I still like it. The more I see Meteor Shower, the more I like. I did not like MS initially, but seeing it out in the wild, it's grown on me.
Is Everyone Happy With The Color They Chose?

TL;DR I have a Wind Chill Pearl with black seats - I like it but do not love the color/seats - I love the LC and Toyota's platform.
I ended up buying a Wind Chill Pearl with black seats, it absolutely was not the color or seat match I wanted. I tried so hard to at least find Java seats but no one had them and the few that did wanted stupid markups or wanted to play stupid games and waste my time. It took a solid 6+ months for me to enjoy the color, I do love the sparkle in the sun is probably what is the thing I like the most. I'd much rather have gotten a heritage blue and I'll be honest when I see heritage blue and especially some folks around town that have it plus java seats I'm extremely envious because it just looks so good.
Ultimately, I wish Toyota would offer more color choices on the LC editions. I originally was dead set on buying a 4Runner Trail Hunter in the Everest, unfortunately since Toyota delayed the hybrid editions by 6+ months and the wait list talking to dealership was already long queued I test drove the LC and feel in love with it.
I do not regret my purchase of the LC/LC platform at all. Everyday I drive mine to/from work and just on trips to the desert/mountains and the light off-reading I do it truly brings smiles and joy to me. However, I will say that if/when it comes time to replace my truck I will 100% make sure not to settle on any color because this is the 2nd vehicle in a row I've bought that I didn't fight/stick with the color I wanted and I do have envy seeing the color I wanted (the 2020 Tacoma I wanted Army Green for the TRD Pro, I ended up by Metallic Gray which is cool, but I can see every scratch, ding, dent, trail mark that it has gotten and when it is dirty it is honestly disgusting looking at times lol). Ultimately sometime in my life I'll return to my roots of a nice green or blue - the louder/bright the better (I love the lime green Tacoma/4Runner and Solar Octane and Wave Marker colors!)

My bad, you are correct, I meant Incognito, which is my favorite GX color but not available on the LC.
I have Meteor Shower, or Brown Sugar to you Canadians, and I'm happy I picked it... Though I like it better when it is darker outside vs. with the sun is shining and it is "silver."

I wanted a 1958 and meteor shower was my last of the three choices, but the deal I was offered on a dealers last 2025 (MS) had me commit. The cloth interior and lack of sunroof were my biggest priorities.
I tend to regret when I don’t get the color I was set on, but I am really liking the Meteor Shower and haven’t “wished” I got white/black since the day I purchased it.

i have H Blue over H Blue. With Java seats. I thought I wanted wind chill pearl with Java but then I looked around at all the white cars right now. Very popular. I had a Barcelona Red 4Runner and it showed all scratches so I thought White. I also really like the Heritage Blue. Saw a blue over blue on a dealer lot a few months ago and thought it was sharp. When I was ready to pull the trigger would have been several month wait for a wind chill pearl let alone with Java. Then I found blue over blue with Java and Premium and 18 inch wheels 4.5 hours from here. Even got below MSRP. Much less demand in the rural areas of W Colorado vs Denver. ABSOLUTELY love it! We call her Bertha. (After the Grateful Dead song. My wife's maroon Highlander is Scarlett)

Thank you!! What’s funny is when we looked at 4 Runners, white was absolutely off the table and a no go as a color choice. I like how people (that care) look at a vehicle and pick a favorite color they want to buy one in. That’s what separates all of us from the people that just drive a mobility blob….aka a vehicle with no personality.
I took the Build-a-Toyota stock picture & fed it to Grok to show my wife what I was thinking about for her LC. Really the first time I played with AI for a project. Built adding lift, tires, rims, Underground color & our ‘real’ vehicle came out pretty close. My kid was pretty proud of me, but have to say it sure made it easier for her to visualize.
I’m still loving my trail dust with white (gray) top. We get so many compliments on the color, more than I got with my heritage blue FJ.
My first choice was wind chill pearl, with heritage blue (& two tone roof) as close second. I saw the heritage blue on a Highlander or something in the dealers lot, and didn't like it. Then saw it on a LC at another dealer and didn't mind it (but it didn't have a two tone). Just happened that the first incoming allocation that met my specs was pearl, so I went with it.
Really happy with the color. Keep catching myself stopping and admiring how deep the color is every time I walk up to the car and the sun catches it from a random angle. Is crazy how much sophistication it adds over the ice cap. Saw two side by side and ice cap looked like it was spray canned in comparison.
In Canada the meteor shower is called brown sugar metallic (paint code 4V8) - which is what I chose, and I absolutely love it.
It's been close to a year, and I can't stop staring at it.

Yes and no. I wanted the 1958, but the color choices were pretty much black, white, or gray. I would have preferred the blue, but didn't really want the square headlights and the other features it came with.
I tend to purchase white or black vehicles. I once owned a NAS Defender 90 in Red, a Green Range Rover and now a Heritage Blue / Greystoke w/Java Leather Land Cruiser. It was available and I purchased. Wouldn't have been my choice considering I would have specced. Black and white look amazing IMO.
Trail dust here. Gorgeous imho. Especially with the wheels and rack changes I purchased here.
That being said, I believe it is human nature to always wonder what something different would be like, in all aspects of life. Not to get philosophical, but I have learned and remind myself on the daily to be thankful for what I have.

I have meteor shower which was not my first choice originally. I wanted white but no one has them. I do get many compliments on the meteor shower and have come to prefer it.
