Has anyone modified the exhaust yet?

It seems like dumping over the axle in an SUV is a bad idea? Increases the likelihood that exhaust gases may enter the vehicle? Not even sure if that setup is legal in some states.

I’m shocked by how bad the exhaust fumes are in the Land Cruiser. I’ve had 4 new vehicles at my current house in the garage. I open the garage door and start them up. On the other 3 never had an issue with exhaust fumes getting into the car or building up in the garage if I need to run back in the house for something. The Land Cruiser exhaust smells awful, builds up fast, and gets in the cabin quick. So yes, I’d be concerned with an axel dump too.

I did get it installed the build quality is excellent, everything fit like a glove. Gained ground clearance. I really like the sound improvements. The factory sound was really lame. Waited until my Wescott Rack reached to get everything installed. Now just waiting for my Dissent front bumper.

I installed the AFE exhaust about a week ago. Hard not to sound like my high school Volkswagen that I punched a hole in the muffler. I’m not 100% certain I’ll leave it on.

I ordered the 3” but they sent me the wrong one (high clearance 2.5”) but not sure the extra half inch would make that big of a tone difference.

I was considering the AFE Vulcan exhaust for mine. My concern is how loud it might be. I don't really need the high clearance one that you got by accident. I do think that with the AFE CAI and the Vulcan exhaust together there would be some kind of difference in throttle and hp/torque although probably minimal.

So i guess the larger question is:
Magnaflow or the Toyota upgrade at about the same price. Toyota is Ti, yes?
