No idea, I reached out recently and just got the generic response that they are working on it. Decides to go OME BP51s which should be dropping in 2 weeks.

I’m ok being Australia first, but they’ve been gapped by everyone rolling this out. OME BP51s are supposed to be super solid and likely a better option so looking forward to that setup now.

Radflo has 2.5” IFP (63mm) coilovers that are similar in construction to BP51 , but Radflo builds to order, and allows for greater height adjustment. They’re also linear rate instead of digressive like the BP51. Different strokes for different folks.

Probably need a Toyota parts expert like Ed Martin Toyota to help out on this one. For example, they were the about the first to install the TRD exhaust on an LC250.

I'd be surprised if they have not done this install already, although I could not find a video on it.
I did a little parts searching, and it shows the 6th Gen 4Runner TRD Off-Road/Off-Road Premium trim come with Bilstein monotube shocks.
The part numbers are 48510-8Z696 front and 48530-8Z321 rear.
Not sure if these assemblies come with reservoirs or not.

Yes, I wonder how the 8112s compare to fully active aftermarket suspensions like ICON CDEV or TEIN EDFC.

Just saw that Shock Surplus custom configured some 8112s from other applications to fit on a GX550.



Unfortunately no official release from Bilstein, per the comments.
