I've been noticing this odd phenomena with the front two window of my LC. Everytime it rains, I have a hard time convincing those two windows to fully pull down with a long press, they become partway stuck for some reason. I'll have to press it a few more times to "unstick". Don't know if the window is how it should be as well, but I can easily jiggle the window around when its partway down, so its not "fixed" in its slot. Have any of you had this problem too or know how I can solve it?

Somethings slightly out of adjustment or your track felts have debris in them.

Yes, same here. When it rained, my driver window would often stop about half way down. A click or two more of the button would usually cause it to fully descend. Or pushing down on the window itself seemed to re-engage it to open.

I took it to Toyota with low expectations that they would do anything meaningful. They said my window runners were dirty and they cleaned them (just the felt runners where the door and window meet). They didn't open the door panel or do any investigation beyond that because that would entail actually caring about a customer concern, and that would be absurd.

I will admit it does seem to have helped as the window has not stopped halfway down when it rains anymore, but the window still jiggles a bit when it is first opened and it just seems kind loose within the door like I've never heard on a car before.

I would be happy to be wrong, but I am on alert every time I put the window down, anticipating a return trip to Toyota at some point in the future. I don't know if the stopping mechanism is overly sensitive, is the window not installed correctly, is there something loose? Is my window going to get stuck while I'm in the rain one day?

Yes! This makes me feel better knowing I wasn't hallucinating.

I have had similar experiences. My issue was that it happened enough times to notice, but not frequently or repeatedly enough to determine a pattern or root cause. I'm going to pay more attention next time it rains.

I'm not sure if this helped or not, but I use a JDM product like "Rain-X" on all of my windows to improve the hydrophobic properties of the glass. Very little moisture on the glass when I roll it up after a shower.

I can not find the company I got the JDM stuff from, but it was a bottle of stuff you poured into a red applicator foam pad brush thing.
