The last trip to the dealership where I purchased Miss Daisy, I walked around the lot while they were ‘dis-servicing’ Miss Daisy. Back in the corner of the lot, there were three LC250’s almost hidden from view. I wonder if they are making them ‘more scarce’ to support price gouging, and do away with selling them below TSRP.

Probably hiding them so they could sell the one with snorkle and michelins.

Perhaps Toyota dealers will soon be called AD’s and require you to purchase a series of “lower tiered” models before you qualify to purchase a Land Cruiser?

Yup, this even bleeds down to classic, actually scarce pieces. In my hunt for an Omega CK2292 (W.W.W.) a few years back, I found many of the examples resided in the collections of Swiss dealers. I had to prove ownership of other pieces (my 1945 CK2444 and inoperable CK2129 were inspected by at least 3) just to get an audience. I ultimately got my W.W.W. at auction for a stupid high price. I can’t imagine the games played with current pieces.

In late 2024, I was in the Toyota dealer I had been using for over 10 years, having my 2015 4Runner get the 125K service and happened to see a 24 1958 model LC in the color I liked, and asked if it was available and they said it was, so I negotiated a deal. It had the options I wanted, except for roof rack and siderails, which I had them install. Great vehicle and glad I bought it before the import tax went up... Just got lucky I guess.

My dealer as of today has 4 (2-26, 2-27) all with premium package on their lot. Not seeing a shortage in NE. Just checked Carvana, they have 29 used '58's for sale across the country. I'm thinking about holding off til 2028 for a new something.

Correct- for 2028, prospective owners must buy one Corolla, a Crown and two Camrys in different colorways before being put on the wait list for a Land Cruiser

(a whole bunch of accessories from the parts department helps too)

Despite what a few have written from time-to-time in this forum, there are no significant discounts on LC's with the Premium Package. Recently, I have seen an influx of $5k or more above MSRP for the right color and options.

Dealers still use the old trick of showing discounts online to luhr in unsuspecting weerie buyers which always turn out to be "just sold."

I purchased my 2026 Premium on March 30. Sticker was ~$71,900. I paid $67,500. This was an allotment, which was delivered on May 28.
As of a few months ago, the deals were still out there. The only caveats were: I went through a (relatively) high volume dealer, at the end of the month/quarter.

Defintely a Pelagos variant. It might be a Black Bay Chrono or Pepsi GMT, however, they are too thick and the LC250 is narrow....
