Probably a dumb question since the LC's have rear lockers, but I was wondering if they also have ATRAC? I only saw TRAC mentioned in the sheet from the dealer and not ATRAC.

I had a feeling it would be linked to 4 Low or something like that. Thank you!Yes, but it doesn’t have a button anymore. I believe it is now linked to crawl control. Supposedly much quieter and smoother in operation. Yes, these have a rear locker, but ATRAC is still useful to mitigate spin on the front wheels.
Appreciate it! I must have missed it in the manual. Thank you for the brief overviews as well! The manual covers these terms but is not very thorough. Here is an attempt at a summary:
A-TRAC - Helps to maintain drive power and prevent the drive wheels from spinning when starting the vehicle or accelerating on slippery roads. This is an integral part of the full time 4WD and torsten differential system on the LC and allows more than 25% power to be delivered to any wheel.
MTS - A more sophisticated driver designated level of A-TRAC. Multi-terrain Select controls the vehicle so that it can maximize the drive force and improve drivability for specific driving conditions like sand, mud and snow.
VSC - vehicle stability control. Helps the driver to control skidding when swerving suddenly or turning on slippery road surfaces. There is a button to turn it off when you want to be able to spin your wheels on purpose.
EVSC - Provides cooperative control of the ABS, Active TRAC, VSC and EPS (power steering).
DAC - The downhill assist control system helps to prevent excessive speed on steep downhill slopes.
Crawl Control - Allows travel on extremely rough off-road surfaces at a fixed low speed without pressing the accelerator or brake pedal.
The basic purpose of these is straightforward. The complexity comes from how they interact which requires reading the fine print. For example, some only operate at low speed or low range. Also, some disable or require other features to be turned on. All part of the fun of learning one of the most capable and sophisticated 4WD systems on the market. Enjoy!
