18" Tacoma TRD Wheels

Yes. No issues whatsoever with that offset and stock tire size.

You’re a legend. Going to spring for those wheels to help a buddy out and throw on some tires that won’t change the ride terribly much. Think the 265/70/18 look weird?

Being a back up car in case family needs to evac (her car is electric) I’m trying to maintain a form of stock ride.

Any recommendations on size and brand? Would be nice to continue to use the spare location as nice as a rear mount would be!

• Do the factory (20" wheel) lug nuts work?
• Is 42607-76020 the right TPMS?

I re-used the LC's TPMS when I installed my Taco Trail Hunter wheels. You probably will need new valve stems (a part of the TPMS) depending on who does the swap. There is a small screw that fastens the stem onto the sensor and will have to removed before the stem can be pulled through the old wheel and if enough lube were applied it would probably pull through without damage and be reused, but my dealer wouldn't even try and I had to wait an additional week for the stems.

Which is great if you are not looking for any poke. I have the TRD OffRoad wheels on mine with 34/10.5R17 Toyo AT3s and I am very happy with them. +50 offset would be perfect like the GX550 Overtrail wheels but the +55 offset is great because the inner side wall distance to control arm with the 285 metric width tire is the exact same as the 275 with the stock FE wheel so no worries about scrub. Here is what the +55 looks like with the 34/10.5R17 tires.

You going with 18" or 17" TRD off road wheels? I have 17" because the amount of choice for 17" tire sizes and loads is far greater than the 18" variety.

I have these wheels and will agree that the offset is perfect for the land cruiser. I ended up going with 285/70r18 ko3 tires and I absolutely love this setup. The stock lugs fit but I ended up ordering the black lugs and they look much better with those wheels.View attachment 27526View attachment 27527

This wheel / tire setup is exactly what I'm targeting for my new Land Cruise that should be arriving in the next two weeks. Looking back, do you have any regrets? I appreciate your feedback before I pull the trigger on the tires. Thanks.

Nope. No need to trim, relocate or remove anything for 285/70/18 Wildpeaks on the Tacoma TRD pro rim to fit stock. Ran it with stock suspension for a while but have since gone with a Radflo/Eibach coilover for 2” lift.

I have this exact set up and was getting mid 19s with the factory 20s. Now I am at mid to upper 16s. So a 4 mpg hit. But man, it just looks so good….

Average right at 17 with this setup but with 285’s, FE roof rack, full aluminum skids. Averaged with Fuelly over 5k or so miles. Gotta pay to play!

I have about 800 miles on the vehicle so far and my average has been about 15. It's frustrating me to be honest. My 9 year old Jeep JK with the 3.6 gets better gas mileage.

Has anyone done the tan/bronze Trailhunter wheels on an LC yet? I haven't seen it here, but that's not saying I didn't miss it. I saw a replica place in Calgary, AB that sells them in 17 and 18" variants for less that $1000CDN. I just wonder how they'd look on the white...

Hi all,

I have 18" rims from my previous vehicle Toyota Prado 150 with Dunlop tires on. I am willing to use them on my new Prado 250 . Feature a 6x139.7 mm bolt pattern, 7.5J rim width, and a +25mm to +30mm offset (ET) against +60 of stock rims. Will they fit?
