First vehicle I have had tinted. Went with 35% ceramic and wow the ceramic is a game changer for long drives in the sun.

You might have to use a single edge razor blade, like what is used to scrape paint off of glass..I did legal tint which is 24% but probably around 20%. You can still see out of it at night and for me it is perfect.. I matched another vehicle I own front windows to the factory rear windows tint and it was so dark at night you couldn't see out and caused my son to sideswipe a tesla. I took a heat gun to the tint and pulled it off next day.
I added 50% tint to the factory ‘tinted’ glass. Huge difference! In heat gain. Did 30% on the front doors and sunroof. Clear on the windshield. From the factory second row seats back are tinted/privacy screened but they aren’t UV protected. I will be getting mine done all round.
You might want 50% for the front side windows..I went with 30% and I have low visibility checking for pedestrians when turning at night. I roll the window down if I can’t see well enough.
In daylight hours, 30% is totally fine
It has not been a problem in Miss Daisy. But I am used to driving with window film on my vehicles, since way back in ‘82. As we age, I think it is more difficult to safely drive with window tint, so you may want to use a 30% or 50% tint.Is the tint on the tailgate cut out around the rear view mirror camera, and if not, how does it affect that view?
