I like the Maxxis because of the design along with good on road and off road manners. Plus they stick to the road in all weather conditions.

Plus if you want to do a pull waste gas and hear the turbo through your intake they grab and go

I’d check with showstoppers or vivid racing. Stock for our LC’s is low right now tho. Next shipments come in end of July/august as far as I can tell.

Does it fit without rubbing? I’m not a hardcore off-road enthusiast but I detest any form of rubbing. Had too much of that with other modified cars.

Depends on your tire size. 285/70/17 on 17x8 or 17x8.5 +20 offset will not rub but it will have some tire poke

IMO you should go +35 or greater if you want flush. The TE37 Large PCD model has fitments for LCs. Check out the high offset (>+40) wheel threads in this forum. Rays sells M14 truck lug nuts (as do others) in a 24 pack, but no hub rings because they're not needed. Check out Project KICS if you want fancy JDM lug nuts.

Thanks. And yeah I was thinking to go larger/increase, in terms of offset. I don’t need fancy lug nuts, though I understand my original ones won’t fit. I may have not stated that correctly. I meant the hub ring will keep the wheel centered, and avoiding vibration.

If you think the rings are needed, then why buy expensive Rays or other JDM aftermarket wheels when they don’t even provide them as an option?These manufacturers do make center caps as an option if you want a more finished look. You can get fully hub centric Toyota or Lexus wheels for a lot cheaper. There’s a few other aftermarket wheels that are hub centric like FN, BC Forged, TWS Forged.

I hope everyone sells lots of sets of these TE37 30th Anniversary Editions so the price comes down . The white might look a little better on a Traildust or Heritage blue though imo.

The answer to your question, sir, is weight. No wheel I’ve found offers this degree of weight savings. The rings will keep them hub centric. Yeah, it’d be ideal if Rays offered them, however there are aftermarket options. However I do appreciate your perspective. Thanks.
