+30 Offset w/pics

For anyone considering a slightly more aggressive fitment without the "Bro truck" look, this is what 33's on +30 18's looks like. I thought I'd share my pics as this was a bit of an agonizing search for me as I'd wanted to:

A) Stick with 18's
B) Keep the weight down (the wheels are posted at ~ 28 lbs. each, tires posted at 43 lbs).
C) Go with a grey/gunmetal/titanium colour as opposed to black (I feel like black wheels disappear on this particular body colour scheme).

My wheels finally arrived from Japan (took 2 months altogether, ordered from Black Hawk), and I had them mounted today. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and I feel I may have hit the sweet spot - at least for me. "Athletic" without being "muscular". (Though beauty's in the eye of the beholder.)

Deets:

• 18x8.5 +30 offset JAOS/Enkei Tribe Cross in Matte Gunmetal. Hub size is an exact match to the LC.
• 275/70/18 Toyo Open Country AT3 EV, SL rated
• No lifts or other mods
• No rubbing, no problem.

*NB - pics don't really do these tires justice. I'd been looking at these online and was concerned they wouldn't be as aggressive looking as I'd hoped, but they are definitely more aggressive looking in the flesh - I was pleasantly surprised.

All I gotta do now is get rid of those ugly wind fairings in the front.

Curious about what you used for lug nuts? Et ones, extended shank?

KMC 18x8.5 +30mm offset on Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires in LT285/75R18 (basically a 35" tire). Had to level it (1.5" front .75" rear) and trim a little off the plastics. removed the front mud flaps and wind guards. Love the look, doesn't rub

do you have a side shot of your vehicle to share? I want to see how the 265 fill the wheel wells. Are you still happy with the stance and tire size?

This post helped make my final decision. Im going with the same set up dimensions with different rims. Originally, I was concerned seeing other people with the 275/70R18 and didnt look like the tire filled the wheel well. It almost looked too small for the vehicle. The 285s looked much better. I think the 8.5 tire width with the 30 offset seems to take care of that issue. When you look at your vehicle in person how does that look to you (photos can be deceiving). Do you ever wish you went for the 285 size for visual appeal? I think the poke would be too much with the 285s on the 30 offset.

I do like the look of a wider tire, but I was also trying to be mindful of weight. TBH, I have no regrets. I'm back onto the winters for now (Toyo Observe GSi6 on stock 18's), and miss the look of the setup in the pics. If anything, I'd say they look more aggressive in person. For my liking, I feel these do a good job of filling the wheel wells, but again, I was looking for athletic without looking too muscular (if you know what I mean).

Any idea what the stock rims weigh? Truck looksgreat
