All I hear is Tommy trying to convince people that the LC250 is good/great/the best… It’s ok. If Toyota fixes issues in future refreshes it’ll be better. We all know the issues: Fuel capacity, transmission and production quality control problems.

If it were so great, no one would need to convince people of how good/great it is. Just sayin.

I find the fuel capacity argument kind of silly because of needing a bathroom or driver switch. I just time them to go with when I need gas. With a smaller tank, my range is similar to my old Xterra, in that I hit the same fuel stops I did with that and have at least as much if not more range when I do get gas as I did in my old truck.

So many former LC buyers thought they were buying a Lexus , Range Rover, Betanyaga etc. Cmon, folks it was a Toyota, granted a very nice Toyota but.........even VW learned a badge will only carry you so far with the failure of the Phaeton.What they di makes 100% sense to me and sales prove . Sometimes ignoring the whiners has its advantages.

Lol, I wonder if I'm the only one here that owns both a J250 and a Phaeton. Most people probably think the Phaeton is a 3:2-scale Jetta when they see it, and are surprised when I tell them it donated its platform and electrical architecture to a pair of Bentleys. It is a very stealthy car.

So, the range has improved - that doesn't mean that we all wouldn't appreciate having a slightly larger fuel tank.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with a larger tank, even just a couple of gallons, but in the end, it's not worth complaining about it. I get better range than my last vehicle even with the smaller tank in the LC, but there have been a couple of times it would have been nice to just finish the drive.

Hey, buy whatever makes you feel good. For me, I prefer the front grill and rear styling of the Land Cruiser over the Lexus... but if the engine and better leather upholstery are worth an extra 10 to 15k, then it's your money...or was...
