System Updates Yesterday

Yesterday after pulling out of my driveway my head unit went into Updating System mode for about 15 minutes. Broke my google maps(no long stays locked to the arrow. I did try to fix in settings), but haven't noticed any other changes. Does Toyota provide any change logs for software updates?

Was Google Maps running in Andoid Auto or Apple Car Play?

Apple Carplay. It was running while the update was going on. I could still see the map burry in the background and when the update was done it messed up the app.
