Smells in the new 2025 LC250 - 1958 trim

I was posting on the other thread with issues regarding a "mildew smell" inside the car.

Toyota Corporate told me in 60 days they will let me know what remedy they are going to offer which is either buy back my car (lemon law) or give me a brand new car.

Sucks it had to get to this point.

I traded in a 2025 4 runner SR5, for a 2025 1958, The 4Runner had a mildew smell after it rained, The 1958 is used and still has that smell of what they detail it with.

So it smells like chemicals vs mildew?

Yes when I test drove the 1958 it smelled normal because it was be driven by a salesman at Toyota, but when they detailed it after I agreed to but it smells like a rental car. That chemical smell is starting to wear off
