That would be fun. I’m not going to the expo but could swing by Saturday morning.Trying to get some 250 owners together before the show (9am) for some coffee before. Interested?
Sounds awesome, unfortunately I’m riding up with my none LC250 buddy (Tacoma) and puts me at the mercy of his travel plans.Trying to get some 250 owners together before the show (9am) for some coffee before. Interested?
Welcome Mike,What’s up everyone I’m Mike in Anaheim. Seems I’m late to the party. Just got my 1958 and trying not to go overboard on mods just yet. I got some tires and skid plates on the way.
I first went to overland expo about 10 years ago and didn’t overland at all at the time. At least in the 4 wheel variety. Been riding adventure bikes, dirt bikes and ATVs for a while. I have a toy hauler that my wife and I take out and explore on our ATVs. We boondock in Johnson Valley, Ocotillo Wells and Hungry Valley mostly.
I almost got a Bronco when they first came back. I had a very early allotment but I got tired of waiting and moved on to the ATVs.
Now I finally have an off-road vehicle that I can do some trails on. I’m not looking to do anything crazy technical. I just like exploring fire trails and getting off grid.
Would love to tag along on some trails.

Welcome to SoCal groupWelcome Mike,
Let’s try to get a day trail raise as a group on the books.
Welcome Mike! Congratulations on your promotion to Land Cruiser Owner! I hope to hit some trails with you. What’s up everyone I’m Mike in Anaheim. Seems I’m late to the party. Just got my 1958 and trying not to go overboard on mods just yet. I got some tires and skid plates on the way.

Thanks. I love the ATVs. Uhaul trailers are great and cheap. Their motorcycle trailer is $15 a day. If I didn’t have a toy hauler I would just rent one of those when I wanted to go out. Owning and storing trailers is a hassle if you don’t have a great spot for it.Welcome Mike, good looking rig with the wheel/tires! Looks like a good time on the ATVs also, I keep going back and forth with wanting to get an ATV but that means then I got to get/rent a trailer and store it somewhere on my property haha. I'm down in the San Diego region but could find myself making my way up towards you all if you do stuff there at some point.
Awesome, thanks for the advice, I figured I have the room the store and ATV in some form/fashion but trying to put a trailer on my side yard would be a nightmare for pathing purposes and such. I'll have to look into this more long term and maybe factor out the cost of the haul rental when I would use it. Worst case the places I would go ATV I can always rent would be the ultimate option I'd normally do.Thanks. I love the ATVs. Uhaul trailers are great and cheap. Their motorcycle trailer is $15 a day.
