Quick questions:
- Is the SD Card easily accessible if necessary or do you have to take the camera down to access it?
- Do you know the max size of SD Card that can be used?

I completely removed my OEM dash cam and installed the FitCam dash cam instead, highly recommend it!Has anyone tried moving the OEM dashcam to the other side of the mirror? It takes up way too much real estate, so to speak on the driver's side. I'm tall and I'm already have to duck down to see under the massive chunk of plastic covering all the electronics behind the mirror. I was wondering if I could literally just re-route the wiring and stick it to the windshield on the other side.
If that is not a solution, does anyone know what would happen to the system if I removed it completely? Would the camera in the back still work properly? I'm considering getting an aftermarket dashcam if relocation is not an option and removal IS an option.

If you don’t want to purchase a new dash cam you can reposition the OEM one to the passenger side fairly easily, just have to remove/reinstall the overhead trim
Welcome to the asylum.Just to add a quick note for anyone considering the Mangoal option mentioned earlier—our units actually support up to 512GB (U3 / V30 cards recommended).
