Rearview Mirror/Monitor Blink

..so I have an issue (LC, Prem) when I run the auto windshield wiper setting the rearview mirror/monitor blinks. So much that just don't run wipers on auto setting. It seems like there is a glitch where when the auto-sensing is doing its detection there is this noticeable blink of the monitor. Any thoughts as to what could be going on?

Are you sure it is not the rear wiper going over the camera?

I don't think that's possible, and the rear wiper wasn't moving. Its a definite pause in the video monitor. Like a blink.

I’d take it in. I use the digital mirror all the time and have driven in rain without this issue.

If you put the car in reverse with rain sense on, it turns on the rear wiper if there is rain, which goes over the part of the glass that the rear view mirror in behind of. But this should only happen with car being in reverse.

It is possible, and it is the wiper. Turn the rear wiper on and see if it does the same thing.
