Rear spare mount: when?

If it were me, I'd buy two sets of keyed alike (8 total) put one on each wheel and 4 on the spare.

(edit) wheel locks will only prevent opportunity thieves from stealing them.......... Pros purchase a locknut removal tool (sold in many box stores) that hammers on and allows easy removal.

I like this advice, I was thinking that I had to do this anyway, to lock down all 6 lugs on the spare tire holder. That being said, using 4 (from two seperate keys) on the spare and then dispersing the rest onto the existing wheels is a great idea.

I ended up picking up the Rig’d Ultraswing for my LC250 for hauling a spare tire. My question is, what lug nuts would you put on the spare tire holder, would you use a securuty style lugnut to reduce theft?

That was the build that I ended up going with, the short fit was correct. I called their support team to ask them directly. The only interesting issue is that apparenly there is not a rear camera relocation kit for this LC, according to the person that I had spoken to at Rig’d.

Was the hitch extension part required for your specific setup, or is that needed for any stock J250? I think I’m going to order this setup, sans table.

I mentioned that I also used a Kuat2 bike rack and they recommended that I get that hitch extension. So I don’t feel it’s required if you’re not adding another hitch accessory.
