Did anyone find the wiring harness part number? I suspect if you did the RFL would come on anytime the front fog lights were in use.

Got mine painted to match my Ice Cap but afraid to install with no help. Please do your complete DIY if you don't mind.I had been meaning to post a complete DIY. Big plan - no action. Since you ask, here is the list of parts I used. The list doesn’t make much sense until you know I was 1) unable to source a painted bumper filler and 2) too lazy to get the unpainted filler, painted to match.

Welcome to the asylum.I did check the connector can be use with sienna, the rest of the parts i can get it from japan order online.
too confusing for the average operator of a vehicle here in the usa. Unfortunately drivers-ed is no longer a curriculumHi;
I've always wondered why this wasn't mandated here by DOT but is by the EU.
I might be wrong but I think Volvos still have them.
please post your DIY would be much appreciatedYes, sorry, that is for the right hand bumper filler, WITHOUT rear fog. I only wanted a RFL on the left. I bought that right hand filler so the paint (unpainted black) would match the left. Nengun and Amayama have loaded the 250 parts catalogues. If you search them for a non-US spec model, you can find the filler with the RFL.
Yes, just the left. Mine is left hand drive. I used a cheap switch I found on AliExpress. I bought a few to try. They’re like $5 to $8. I found one with white lighting (to match the others in my dash), but it was way too bright. I switched to an ice blue one which is normal brightness. I had an Amazon relay harness I re-purposed for this. The first switch worked out of the gate. The second switch I had to re-pin on the vehicle-side connector at the switch. I used the relay because I couldn’t find, and wouldn’t trust, the amp rating of the switches. The switch I used has an on-indicator light AND the correct ISO icon for RFL.

From the videos and pictures I came across doing my research, I found them with either a single left or a single right. I never saw one with both. But hey, it’s your project so you do you. It would be simple enough to run a jump to the second. The lamp is only 2.7 watts.

I ended up ordering this connector from AliExpress - appears to be a match but will confirm it works after installing. I plan to run this with a aftermarket harness to an independent switch on left side of steering wheel similar to OP.It looks like the 2020-24 Sienna and Highlander share this harness (22008-8A04S) stamped on the part per pics on eBay. The Toyota official catalog part seems to be 81555-0E230.
A sanity check on the part number and a DIY write up would be greatly appreciated!
Did the harness plug in to some connector on the LC or parts were canabalized from the purchased harness and you wired to a new switch?
Good idea, with a diode installed on the line to the brake function installed between trailer socket harness and DD hitch light to prevent back feeding the power into vehicles brake lights you could then add a switch to DD hitch light after the diode to do exactly that, slight possibility it may require a relay as well but wouldn't think so.Wouldn't it be nice if you could get something like the Diode Dynamics hitch insert brake light and use it for a rear fog light? I doubt there's a big enough market for a rear fog light to make a manufacturer do it, but it seems like a less invasive solution, you'd just need to be able to switch it on and off, and then just act like a '3rd' brake light when not in use.
