RCI vs GreenLane Skid Plates

I can't see why those would not work. Might need similar trimming as the thinner plates if they have the same type of "fingers" on the plate that allows you to hook them on the frame when installing.

There also seems to be a plastic trim piece on the front that may or may not be compatible.

The upgraded OEM plates don't have the fingers at all.

That's what I was thinking as well. Really curious how well this would fit with the upgraded factory skids.

I ordered one to experiment with as additional bracing for a different skid. If anyone in the Portland MSA wants to try it out with their OEM or otherwise skids I’m happy to coordinate doing some fitment tests before I install on mine.

If my garage wasn't occupied by other projects for the next month I'd probably be buying one and experimenting as well. I'm eager to hear if anyone makes this work with the Toyota upgraded skid plates. Also, this probably deserves its own thread.

We just test fitted with the upgraded Toyota skid plate and it fits fine. We did not have the additional front trim piece, so I can not verify that is compatible, however I believe that piece covers the gaps that we already fill with the HD RCR
