Qi Wireless charger delete

The exact same reason, I will eventually put in a on/off switch! I tend to resource connectors and pins and make break out harnesses, so I don't have to cut OEM wiring (which can be very time consuming). It is on my to-do list, but kind of at the bottom.......LOL
When you source your connectors where do you get them and can one get both sides, both male and female? If you have a source please post a link because I need to get switched power to a relay and it is not exactly easy with a new vehicle.

It's hit or miss with this site as sometimes I guess and base it off the pin layout and connector shape. Sometimes what I've ordered isn't the correct "Keyed" shape and I shave off the keyways....... Which connector are you looking for?

Disconnecting the wireless charger is deadly simple if that is what you want, you just need to take apart the center console which is very simple and how-to available in the forum in the trim removal thread. But as somebody else suggested, it'd be even easier to just cut a rubber mat to fit the area. You might have to experiment with material thickness but it will work. I know because the plastic phone protector my wife chose for her phone prevents the charger from working...
I would not recommend disconnecting the wireless charger plug, i have tried that it gave me couple of warning after starting the car, including break error. They only disappeared after i reattached the plug and detached/reattached the battery cables for a traditional restart way. No idea how is that connected to the breaks tho.

Taking the console is pretty easy, done it couple of times. its just detaching the clips.

I have attached a pdf on how to detach just in case.

This is great feedback. I think I’ll just leave it as is.
