OME MT64 Lift

Thank you, guys. I located a parts breakdown for the rear shock that apparently fell out of the box when I was unpacking it . Like the one above, the large washer is used on the inside of the lower attachment point. The two smaller ones go at the end of the that to act as spacers for the original bolt to keep from compressing the rubber bushing. I of course found the folded piece of paper under a shelf after having assumed/guessed that was the way it was to be configured.
Sorry for not getting back to you! I wasn’t quite sure what you meant originally when you were describing those washers. Glad you figured it out!
 
Considering purchasing and installing the OME MT64 w/UCAs. Did you install yourself or do you have a shop do it? How hard is it if you do it yourself, and what did the shop charge for labor and install if you did it there?

Any recommendations on a good/affordable shop in the greater Seattle area? (Eastside preferably)

I installed the front coilovers and rear shocks myself. I’ve been working on my own vehicles my whole life, initially out of necessity, but now for fun. Nothing about this install was particularly difficult, but if it’s a person’s first major foray into automotive work, help from a skilled friend or relying on a shop is a prudent direction. Even though I’ve been working on vehicles for over 40 years, I always get concerned I’ll miss something critical when working on the front end.

If you do decide to do it on your own, torquing to spec is an absolute. I also paint mark every fastener after torquing to confirm it was done, and for later inspection that nothing has loosened. Oh, and many suspension components are not torqued until the vehicle is on the ground under its own weight (neutral position).
 
Is 0 lbs Front/0 lbs Rear the right way to go with the MT64 if I haven't added any additional weight (and don't plan to soon)? Since the next step up is 220lbs FR/440lb RR, I figure that gives me a little future proof wiggle room if I end up adding some bash protection. Quick google search says the fronts are rebuildable and you can swap out the springs if I add a bunch of weight down the road.

Edit: @WeGo250 I just read your post that the front is already sagging with ~150lbs in the front.

I am running the 220-330lbs front with mine, without any additional weight. Sagging was my worry. I did add the 15mm spacer to the rear end to balance it a bit.
 
0/0 here, no issues rake being higher in front. I’m also not planning to add any significant weight-unless I get a spare tire carrier, then I’ll reevaluate

I'm going with the same setup. Looking good. Is the front set at 3inchs?
Not sure yet, picking it up from the shop after lunch today and will get the details. They kept it overnight to knock out the alignment this morning.
 
Do you have a difference in the lift measurements?
I can ask them, I didn’t take a pre-lift measurement. I’ll measure the post lift height when I get it home later though.

Looks really nice. The Toyota wheels being stock look good as well, also there Hub Centric which is a plus.
 
Got it home and love it. Drove 40 miles from the shop to the house on mixed highway/roads going 35-75MPH. Elevation climb to my house is 500 ft uphill and tires are new 285/70 18 (E Load) Toyo AT3s on stock wheels @ 35psi. With the lift driving this route/distance/speed, I got 18.1 MPG in Sport Mode.

Front spring clips were left at the factory setting at clip (5) which is full extension at 3” in the front - ride is level with maybe a tad bit of rake.

Measurements with these tires and stock First Edition wheels are as follows:

Overall height - 79.25”
Front ground to fender height - 39”
Rear ground to fender height - 39.5”
Top of tire to fender - 7”
Ground to bottom of OEM slider - 16”
Front center hub to fender - 23.25”
Rear center hub to fender - 23.75”

Ride feels slightly tighter in the steering, but still absorbs bumps really well and tracks straight. Lane keep assist works well, even with the heavier tires and I did not notice any lag in acceleration.

Most noticeable takeaway is the height of the hood, feels like a proper truck height now.

Would you mind measuring from the center of the hub to fender?
