E range makes sense for heavy towing and off road use in rocky terrain. Since our LCs can't tow much, E range not needed for that. They can probably maje the difference though when in sharp rock. For on road use, there is a price in fuel mileage and comfort for using E range. KO2 D range are pretty good for off road anyway, with three sidewall plies - better than most options. Nice tires, although we put Falken D range on our LC. The Falkens had a leak within two weeks, thanks to a screw. I love the TPMS early warning system!
