I picked up my LC Premium in Meteor Shower this afternoon, trading in my '18 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The folks at Arlington Toyota in Arlington Heights, IL were easy to work with. Although they are not my closest dealer, six weeks ago they had an unclaimed LC allocation that was exactly what I was looking for.

My immediate impression is it's so much quieter than my old Wrangler, and rides so much nicer. It's going to take some time to learn to navigate the infotainment system, and driving home from the dealer in an epic thunderstorm was not the optimal time!

Out with the old, and in with the new.

Congrats! I have a deposit down on a LC Premium due to arrive late May/early June. My dealership does not know if there would be any impact on price due to tariffs. Any unforeseen changes to your pricing when you took delivery?

I was worried about the tariffs as well but my dealer told me there was nothing incurred on mine. I'm not sure if my LC hit the port before the tariffs began, or if Toyota is eating the additional costs for now.

Good to hear! Cross your fingers and light a candle for me, this is going to be a long month!

Congratulations!

I test drove a rubicon and sahara before getting the LC. I honestly don’t get how anyone can enjoy driving a wrangler on the flat road. Also, it’s so cramped in there.

Great color, I love my Meteor Shower.

They aren't fast, but they are a lot fun to drive.
That's the point for me. I find it fun to drive, but I don't have to have the noise and harsh ride of the Jeep. Speed has never been an attraction for me.

Congratulations!

Totally.

The Wrangler is a bit like making a deal with the devil. Yes, the ride is crude, it's loud and a bit cramped. But it is damn fun to drive. But after three of them, I was dying for a change. The LC reminds me of a fun Tonka Truck, with all the creature comforts.

I drive a V8 F150. Driving the Land Cruiser is like driving a go kart lol… Even if it is about 3sec slower to 60, which probably isn’t a bad thing.

Congrats. Looks awesome.

Congrats on the car. Qq does you car have a “Landcruiser” carpet mats when you bought it? Not the all weather but regular carpet mats with the Landcruiser name stamped on it? Just curious. TIA
