Method +35 Photo Request

Probably enough pictures of this setup already but here's mine. Looks so much better over the stock 20s that it came with.

Method 703 +35
Toyo AT3 34 10.5 17

Thanks @LcAz for the research on this setup!

Does Method 703 17x8.5, +35 offset, 6x5.5, 106.25mm cenerbore fit?

Hey there! Was looking at this exact wheel/tire setup for my 2026 LCLC. Wanted to know if there's been any rubbing on the stock suspension, and whether you were able to fit a full size spare in the factory spot under the rear bumper.

There's no rubbing. The full size spare fits but does hang lower than stock. Took this picture after I put on the transmission skid plate but you can see how the spare is about the same level as the rear diff skid plate.

Awesome! Thank you. I think I am gonna go these bronze 703s 17x8.5 +35mm offset and that same Toyo OC AT3 34x10.5r17 tire.

Two more questions, if you don't mind:

1. Did you reuse your TPMS sensors from the st9ck wheels?
2. Is it possible to recalibrate the speedometer to provide an accurate speed after putting on the taller tires?

I'll try to add my own pics here when I've got it all installed! Thanks again.

You'll also need to get different lug nuts as the Toyota ones won't work with the Method wheels. I went with Method lug nuts.

1. Yes, the shop I bought the wheels/tires from swapped them. No issues there.
2. I am not aware of a way to recalibrate the speedo. However, using something like Tire Size Comparison will give you an idea of how far off the speedo might be. In my case it's only a couple of MPH different.

Does Method 703 17x8.5, +35 offset, 6x5.5, 106.25mm cenerbore fit?
Maybe late but better than never.

Been facing vibration in the highway on my ko3 even after doing cenerbore roadforce balancing, which might be the reason.

Doing the balancing by the bolts in 2 days hope that fixes it.

So here is my take on your overall question with my solution which works perfectly for me.
I have the Method 703 +35. I went with the Toyo AT3 34 10.5 17 (33.5 diameter). It is a D rated tire (tougher offroad than SL) and only weighs 55lbs, and the spare fits. Rides better than the Toyo 265 70 18 SL I was running. The 34 10.5 17 has essentially the same width as the 265 but an inch taller tire. The benefit is that it doesn’t poke outside the wheel well, but is just at the edge. MPG is the same as the 265 Toyo (18.7). For my use case it was the perfect landing spot.
Thanks for sharing, anyone else have photos of 703s with 34/10.5 17s? Any feedback on the narrower tire as for wet/snow traction? Off-road? I like the idea of better MPG than 285s.

FE here and looking at Titanium or Black 703s with Toyos (D load). Currently stock wheels with E load Toyos in 265.

I put (bronze) Method 703 in 17x8.5 with +35mm offset on my LCLC with Toyo Open Country AT3s in 34x10.5r17. I have stock suspension and this wheel/tire combo fits without modification for the full range of motion (as far as I can tell) and in the stock spare location under the truck. I've taken it offroading a bit on some icy & muddy lighter trails and the combo worked fantastically.

What kind of mileage are you getting with the set up?

How is the ride quality/noise/mpg so far on highway and local streets treating you with this set up? Looks really nice to my eye. Anyone else have more comments on the 34/10.5R17 combo?

I went with Method 703 17x8.5 +35 offset wrapped with Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail 255/75/r17. Really enjoying the setup. The LC feels lighter and more nimble as compared against the stock 20s. I decided on Cooper R+T because of their reviews in snow, rain and highway. I off-road only a few times a year, so on road performance was a priority.

I'm considering going with a set of Method 703 +35 offset wheels. I'm debating between those and something with a +40 or +45mm offset. If you have a set of Method wheels with a +35 offset and have a tire close in size to a 285/70R17 (11" wide), can you post photos of the amount of poke you're getting? (I'm looking to get just a slight amount of sidewall poke, without sending stripes down the side of the truck). Thanks!
Here's my setup. I went with 285/75 instead of 285/70 so a tad taller, but the poke is perfect for me:

Hello everyone.
I've been checking all Method 703 threads and can't find a single pic of trail dust on bronze 703. Does anyone have this set up? I'm about to order the 703 non HD wheels but still not sure about the color.
Currently riding partly bronze 20 inch wheels and happy with the color match but want 17 inch and less poke (now it's 0 offset).

I considered the bronze 703s for my trail dust but decided to go black. I saw one picture somewhere of a trail dust with bronze wheels (not 703s) and it looked odd and not great to me. I think small pop of bronze on the hub caps looks good though. You could probably use AI to render it for you before making a decision.

I did with AI of course. And I already ordered. Now deciding whether to change to black or not... The order is still in process and the package didn't leave the seller...
How do you think guys?

That actually looks pretty good. The wheel design is definitely more visible in bronze. It’s a more unique look. I still personally like the contrast of black but you cannot go wrong. If you end up keeping bronze post some pics!

Ended up with blacks and heritage caps... Not a big fan of absolutely black wheels so got only 80% of satisfaction..) Titanium could be a better option I guess.
