I have a 2010 Land Cruiser and the security alarm keeps going off with honking horn and flashing lights. It happens randomly with the car locked and also unlocked. Dealer says it is the mayday backup battery but the part is discontinued. Would it be advisable to purchase a used one online? If so can anyone help describe the location and installation of the mayday backup battery. thanks!

That appears to be a coin battery, if you remove it, most coin batteries have the number stamped into them. All you really need is the diameter/thickness and voltage to find a suitable replacement.
