This is awesome! Definitely a nice smiles per dollar mod.
If you read the manual you'd realize you never need to use that knob as controls are right on back of steering wheel.
Still waiting for the "Much Better Mod" or did i miss something?
You apparently missed the first post on this thread and the dozens that followed it discussing it.
it was from a box full of lego. i didn't modify it at all.
you let your passenger use the volume controls on your steering wheel? i think we all know there's a volume on the wheel. you missed the point entirely about it being something fun to do with the car.
People are taking a Lego tire addition to the volume knob a little too seriously. I think it’s an awesome customization!
Do you have to cut in half? Are they too thick?
I think it will depend on the tire - I didn’t modify mine. I’m not convinced it’s official Lego, but it came from a Lego bucket.
Welcome to the asylum.
Muscle memory pretty much negates this new fangled tech on mine. I always seem to reach for the knob before I remember there are steering wheel controls.
