LC250 Rock Sliders List

I currently have the factory steps installed but my wife keeps getting door dings at her work. Theres no where else she can park to avoid it and spots are assigned. Im wondering if any of the sliders do a better job at preventing door dings?
She should cover up the door dings with pinstripes!

The aFe Power Sliders stick out more than all the others as they are super wide and beefy from front to back. These would be my pick for preventing door dings as most other brands kick out at the rear but are pretty slim up front.

Do you own them? I am on the fence about purchasing them. However, I can’t find any reviews online of people who put them on their LC.

Bump It Offroad is coming out with step sliders now too. Met these guys and road on trails with them at Cruise Moab, great folks with quality offerings! I have the header made by their parent company Trimeki for my 40 series and it's perfection, also got to see a few of their products in person and they all seem to be top notch. .

COMING SOON: 250 Series Step Sliders

Hey Akira, I just put the aFe sliders on this past weekend.
Took a chance on them because they appeared to meet all of my requirements:

-Not too heavy. (I also considered the aluminum Greenlane for this reason.) Measured with my reasonably accurate bathroom scale, these came in at 38 lbs. each.

-Also serves as a step. My wife needs a step and these provide a comfortable step for both front and back doors.

-Has a rear kick-out. Simply because it provides a convenient step up to the top of the rear tire for accessing all the stuff that goes on the back third of the roof rack. (Bonus that the rest of the slider provides nice access to the rooftop storage boxes.)

-Sturdy construction that, of course, bolts to the frame.

-Available for delivery before my next trip out to Utah and Nevada, in December.

I am, so far, very happy with them. I ordered them on a Thursday night and they arrived at my door the following Sunday! They were packaged well although they arrived with the packaging a little beat up. There was one scuff that was easily touched up with a quick spray of Rust-oleum hammer finish black. They will no doubt sustain much worse in their first outing. The construction and finish both appear well done and durable. Installation was extremely easy on the passenger side. (Took longer to unwrap the packaging than to install.) The driver side took slightly longer. The holes in the rearmost bracket were about 1 or 2mm short of the threaded holes in the frame. With the slider bolted to the frame with the first 6 bolts, I used a hydraulic jack to carefully tweak that last bracket into alignment, and the last two bolts went right into place. I have no idea if the misalignment was due to being dropped during shipping or an issue while being built on the jig. It was minor and not a real problem.

I purchased them through LC250Mods.com, a sponsoring vendor for the forum. @Matthew@LC250Mods

Edit to note that, though the pictures online show a top plate that screws into place, the sliders came with the top plate welded in place, which would have been my preference anyway. Also, the little logo emblem is attached in a much more inconspicuous place, inboard at the very front of the slider, which is also something I appreciate.

Well, you could have told me before, Akira! 🤣🤣🤣

Edit to ask, did you yours come with a screwed or welded top plate, @akira ? Just curious when that might have changed.
