Just installed the Toytec 1.5" Front Leveling Spacer Kit

Just installed a Toytec 1.5" Front Leveling Spacer Kit. No noticeable change in road manners, handling, still very comfortable ride, maybe a tiny more body roll. All in all happy with the kit... Now time for new shoes.

Nice!
It’s a very subtle difference, really, but it is just enough to help with clearance issues.
I put on 285/70/18s with stock rims and was rubbing a little bit with full lock and compression. Rough Country leveling kit fixed that problem.
Pretty simple install, too!

Assume load C? How's the ride? More stiff and rough or not too bad? MPG hit?

Ride actually feels better than the tiny street tires, honestly. Maybe I’m just a redneck, and that’s what I am used to.
Probably a MPG hit, but hard to tell since I switched tires so quickly. My guess is a 1 or 2 mpg hit.
Interestingly, I felt 0 difference in power or acceleration. Doesn’t make sense, I know, but didn’t notice anything.

This a heavy tires. They are 34" diameter. That would give the LC over 9 inch clearance. Did you get a spare as well and does it fit under the car?

Looks great! Exact same set-up I have on order right now, except going with a Westcott collar, but the same tires and just leveling it and adding some space. Great call on this set up! Did you have to trim away anything or did the leveling kit make enough room?

Very interesting. Only $125 for the kit. I assumed much more, but perhaps the labor gets costly? I am newbie to lifting trucks but interested. Is it easy to install this kit and does it affect any other components like brakes, the off-roading accessories like diff and rear lock, sway bar disconnect, or the off-road modes?
Is it typical to only lift the front and leave the rear as-is, as I believe this kit does?

Ya, if you dont know what you’re doing, call around your local shop and ask for a quote. You’ll need an alignment as well, probably going to run $500ish give or take for a good shop. This lifts only the front, so the car is level (back is 1.5” higher from the factory) and allows larger tires. In this case 34” tires wont rub vs a stock setup.

OP, Did you also do the spare 285/70/18? Others have confirmed 275/70/18 fits very tightly. I think the 285/70/18 with a 40 offset wheel and 1.5-2.5 level kit is the perfect balance for this platform. Only issue is the spare.. I don't want to mount one to tailgate. Pair this with a light duty semi quiet on road AT tire.
