Is there a way to delete beeping upon locking LC and closing hatch?

I don't think you can turn off the initial beep (according to the foot note in the manual). You can turn off the beeps while it is opening. Mine is set to "none" and it has the initial beep.

There's a noisemaker just under the bumper where one could easily pull the plug. Assuming that's where the noise is coming from
