Interesting OEM Discovery Behind the Center Console (2025 LC 1958)

Sorry for the delay, I wanted to double-check the Toyota documentation before posting the part numbers.

The male connector housing that plugs into the factory connector is:
Toyota P/N 90980-12551
For anyone wanting to build the breakout using Toyota OEM components, Toyota also offers the corresponding terminal already attached to a repair wire:

Toyota P/N 82998-24230

The Toyota documentation identifies it as a 0.64 non-waterproof male terminal.

Since the repair wire comes with the terminal already crimped, you do not need a terminal crimping tool if you go that route. You would simply need to properly connect/terminate the repair-wire leads for your application.


For the 4-signal breakout shown in my original post, the available circuits I verified are:

• BATT+
• IG/ACC
• ILL+
• GND

One additional tip for anyone sourcing Toyota OEM parts:


I’ve had good luck using Amayama for genuine Toyota parts from Japan. Their pricing on some of these small connector components can sometimes be considerably better than buying them through a US Toyota dealer.
