I think I will just continue doing what I do. When it's 10 below freezing outside and I need heat, I set to 63 degrees and I'm toasty.
When its 100 outside I set to 70 and I am fine.
Its kind of strange especially with the heat, but it works for me.

I’m roasting in my LC. I have to turn down the heat to 64 for it to be comfortable and I like a warm cabin. I don’t mind too much heat in the winter because turning it down has been fine. But now you have me thinking about coolness in the summer. Perhaps I need to schedule an appointment at Toyota and tell them that the car is sweating me out at 68 degrees.

I originally had this issue when I first got the LC. I found that the rear AC controls were set to max hot, so it was competing with what I had in the front.

My heat and AC work fine. I did get my windows tinted to help the AC out in the summer.

I recalibrated the set temp by -2C in GTS+ (Max amount), my system functions great afterwards in automatic climate control mode.

How do you change the heater calibration?

During this recent cold weather, i found the heater to be pretty weak. I put it on max HI and full fan and barely felt a breeze coming out of the vents. Maybe im doing something wrong.

Read the manual thoroughly and if that doesn't tell you how to fix it, get it checked at your dealer - mine works just fine.

Yeah. It does get toasty once heated up. I usually crank my heat down to 68 once it reaches uncomfortable.

Weird, fixed all my issues. I will say I always have the rear system on as well so that may be some difference, kinda hard to regulate temperature properly when the front isn't designed to deal with the heating and cooling load of the whole cabin.

I wonder if maybe there are rear temp sensors and they are in use regardless of whether or not the rear system is on or not?

S-Flow control and ECO mode control also have quite the effect on system operation as well.

Did you go minus 2c or plus 2c setting? I was at minus 2 and wasn't working as well as hoped. Yesterday i changed to plus 2, to see if I could feel the difference, in the driveway I could not. Driving into work this morning (offset still plus 2) while 22f outside, it wasnt cooking me with heat set at 62. Possibly just coincidence, need more trips with this offset.

One thing I know for sure is, when I set the temp to 66 degrees, that is the same as 70 degrees in my other vehicle.

@MSINAL -2C, that is telling the A/C computer that the inside temp is ~6F cooler than factory calibration. So in heating I no longer get excessive heat while set at 70 and when cooling it switches to A/C mode much earlier.

Once I did that the system in mine functions like every other automatic climate system I've used, pick your temp and leave it alone. Mines been set on 70 for about a year now with temps ranging from 13F-110F during that time.

This calibration is irrelevant when it is 50 degrees F or lower outside. Will still blow very hot air on all settings besides low. only gives you slightly more wiggle room.
