High Odometer Reading at Start Up

My odometer has been stating 8K+ miles at start up then flippling to the actual (I hope) odometer reading. Any one else run into this?

The 8k is the number of miles until your next oil change.

Wow that's cool i didnt know this. I guess that explains why Im mine says ~9200 (i have 800 miles on my LC)
