I'm curious if the heaters in the ventilated seats just aren't as warm as those in the non-ventilated seats.

Some have suggested that the amount of seat heat depends on the drive mode, with ECO providing a reduced level of seat heat.

This. I tried changing to sport mode and they definitely heated faster and hotter.

When I tried to use them in cool weather (40s), they were not very warm. But since the temps dropped below 20F, they got very warm. I can no longer use the 3rd level for more than 5 minutes before it get uncomfortably hot. This is for heaters in my ventilated seats.

Great poll. My Premium ventilated seats would get warm quick, but then cool off very quickly (like a bell curve). The other night we were coming in from a cold night and my seat warmers were cold-ish for 30mins of driving as if they weren't on.

I have the Premium package with the heated/ventilated seats and they have been the only real disappointment thus far. Almost unnoticeable most of the time for both even though I am in Sport mode all the time. Just took it in last night for the 5,000 mile service and added this as something for them to check out. They just called and said there was “a code that needed cleared that should have been cleared at the factory” that was preventing the seats from working properly. They have apparently cleared this code and they should be good to go. I’ll see if that makes a difference when we pick it up later.

I have the ventilated seats. Usually the top level is way too hot after a few minutes. Yesterday I spent a lot of time laying in the snow digging out my truck in weather-inappropriate attire. I was cold and wet - and even then I had to turn down the warmers after about ten minutes.

I find that my "cheeks" don't get much warmth from the coils, it's mostly under my thighs towards the front of the seat

I was very happy with how warm the wheel and seats get on our 1958. Both were "musts' for my wife. Even after adding leather, the LC's seats get warmer/faster than our R1S.

I have a First Edition and find the seats and steering wheel get plenty warm/hot. I often need to reduce or turn off the seat, and turn off the steering wheel, once the car is up to temperature. These compare favorably with my former BMW X7

Curious if you have an update since the code has been cleared? Thx

We do not notice any difference, which is to say we don't notice them at all. My wife thinks maybe the passenger side gets "a little warm", but agrees the driver's seat is not noticeable at all.

As a comparison, I had her try the heated seats in my company provided Subaru Crosstrek and she was amazed at how hot they get. She had to shut it off after about 5 minutes.

That’s definitely a malfunction. I can feel them through several layers of snow gear.

No complaints about the heated seats in my LC. On cold days I might start out with them on the middle setting but I generally go around on the low setting all day.

It’s plenty warm but a little goes a long way for me. By comparison, the lowest setting on my 911 is so warm that I can only keep it on briefly.

Mine are definitely not as warm as you’d like them to be and the same goes for the heated steering wheel - though the Dec 2022 Land Cruiser I had previously (J150 series) only had heat half way around the steering wheel so that’s an improvement!
My wife’s Volvo XC60 has way hotter seats / wheel so I know what it should feel like.
I doubt there is anything they can do now so I’ll just have to wait for the Spring / Summer months!

Very strange. My J250’s seat and steering wheel heat are significantly hotter than my 2020 XC60.
