I’m inching closer to roof rack acquisition and like this Gobi rack as it leaves some clear space over my sunroof (my LC is a daily driver and gets to see dirt only 10% of the time), seems functional, and looks ok. I Like the easy light bar integration too. Though they call it low profile and stealth, it sure looks like it’s “walking tall” on the roof and wonder if this is some form of reverse psychology on Gobi’s part. Mostly worried about excess highway noise and big hit to mpg. Not sure about its tie down mechanism vs others racks (Prinsu etc) too.
Wondering if there are some who have this rack and can give their honest opinions. When all said and done this will be pretty expensive investment and I’d like to make the right decision the first time. Thanks for any help.
