First Edition Owners - Feeling about your FE in retrospect

07/24 FE and watching vessel finder and waiting for it to clear port to the dealer was the closest I’ve felt to Christmas anticipation as a grown ass adult 😂 - yes, I’d do it again.. even if only for the badging, flaps, and vin. Do I wish Toyota would have done a little more for the early birds, yes.

11k on the OD and still breaking it in -

I absolutely love my FE. What originally sold me on it were the classic round lights with the armor, the roof rack, and the fact that the limited availability made it feel like a "now or never" find.

After putting it through its paces, I have zero regrets. I’ve done a number of long trips now, including a 5,000-mile tour of the Southwest earlier this year, running from Texas out to California and back.

In my opinion, it is truly the best all-arounder. It provides incredible comfort on those long highway stretches, yet still has the off-road chops to get it done on the trails when needed. It really feels like the perfect balance for a daily driver that can actually handle the rough stuff.

Zero regrets on the First Edition here!

I bought my 58 the day their first allotment came in Spring 2024. I just happened to be there when an FE, LCLC and 58 came in. The first 2 were claimed by dealer and his friend. Any new orders wouldn't be in until late summer/Early Fall and everything on order was presold. I simply bought the 58 on the spot. I do enjoy it. I had a few chance since to buy "new" Dealer Demos, but I couldn't get the prices down below $80K. So I happily stayed with my 58. Coming on 2 years and almost 36,000 miles. Carvana offered my $51k+ for it last week., but I think I will keep it another year. LC's are getting harder to come by in the NE suddenly. WE bought my wife a fully loaded I-Force Max 4Runner Limited last month. Drove it to FL it has most of the tech stuff the FE would have - It was very nice, but I do like the sparse ruggedness of the 58 and am glad I didn't uptrade to an FE.

Def like mine.. 24 FE w/20k .

Hey all, just bought my 2024 with 16K on it exactly a week ago. Black on black. I can see myself driving it until I am no more! Looking forward to learning and sharing!
Welcome, have a ‘24 FE with 11k miles on it and love it! Enjoy and welcome to the club

i'm about to purchase the skids for my LC-LC, top of my skid list is the FE OE skids, have you actually put them through some descent abuse, do you change your own oil and is it a PIA with the Toyota Skids?
The FE skids make it very easy to change the oil. You remove 4 of the 6 bolts that hold it on, and then only loosen the remaining 2 bolts. The FE skid then slides over ~1”, and easily drops off of the frame, into my waiting 69 year old hands so I can lay it aside. I do this with Miss Daisy up on ramps, while laying on a Harbor Freight creeper. Easy peasy. With the Fumoto valve installed, oil changes are a breeze.

Owning the LC250 – First Edition (Trail Dust - Mono Tone) is truly special. With only 50 units brought in and sold out within minutes, it’s more than a vehicle—it’s a rare statement. The retro-inspired design instantly captures attention, giving onlookers a sense of nostalgia blended with modern strength and capability. Every drive feels exclusive, every glance turns into admiration, and every detail reflects the legacy and craftsmanship of an icon. It’s not just ownership—it’s pride, heritage, and timeless presence on the road.

69 yrs young man still lays under Miss Daisy to do his routine maintenance: just Wow 🤩 bravo 👏

Enjoying my FE for sure. Few quirky things but overall, a Toyota and therefore a familiar, capable and reliable friend right out the door.
