I had PPF on the front half of my last car, which I traded in for my LC. After 5 years there was no discernible difference in color from the parts that were wrapped and not wrapped. I'm about 90% sure it was XPEL. Car parked in a garage, but sits in the sun during the work day, 5 days a week. Ran it through the car wash practically once a week, black car with a car wash subscription. The only damage to the PPF that happened was when I clipped my mirror on the brick pulling into the garage. The edge of the PPF was ripped up some but not too bad. I was able to clean it up a bit.I have two cars in PPF, one in partial, one stealth PPF. I'm getting LC soon and planning to do it again.
Do I think it's worth it? Honestly not really, but it's a nice peace of mind.
Regarding the longevity of the PPF, my dealer says it really depends if the car is parked in garage or on the sun.
The only worry I have is that a branch would lift and pull the PFF down during the off-roading.
